Spring Equinox through philosophy & tradition 🌸

This is the beloved time of the Spring Equinox. The Sun entering Aries marks the beginning of a new zodiacal cycle and the simultaneous initiation into the season of blossoming and growth…

what’s the Equinox mean?

Here are some simple literal, and metaphorical significations of the Equinox. Although this is written for the physical phenomena in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s implications can be read Universally:

🌸 There is now more daylight than nighttime (congrats- we made it!)

🌸 And the days are continuing to get longer!

🌸 Now that most of the frost has gone, it’s time to plant those seeds!

For the Equinox day itself, it’s globally culturally emphasized that “this is the day that Mother Earth has returned from the snowfall”, bringing with it softer soil, brighter days, and a collective reawakening as we ourselves reemerge from the darkness of Winter.

🌱 Take the day to get outside and love on Mama Gaia. She’s missed you, too.

🌱 Reflect back upon what the inwardness of the past few months has brought you.

🌱 Look forward and reflect on what seeds you’d like to plant in this new season.
