Newsletter & Editorial Production (Venue)

WORK COMPLETED: 2025-2026

Recurring newsletter content for a rustic, community-based food and music venue, shaping tone and engaging points of connection.

TIMEFRAME: June 2025-January 2026

PUBLICATIONS: ~30

I led newsletter production for a multi-use venue hosting live music, markets, private events, recurring community programming, and food and beverage offerings. The newsletter functioned as both a weekly editorial publication and a primary communication tool for audiences, vendors, and collaborators.

The newsletter functioned as a recurring editorial publication and primary communication channel for a multi-use event hall. Each edition combined upcoming programming, announcements, and community-facing updates into a single, consistent touchpoint. Rather than serving as a simple promotional email, the newsletter operated as a structured editorial product—balancing event information with tone, pacing, and narrative continuity to keep audiences engaged and informed.

Its purpose was twofold: to drive attendance and participation while also reducing operational friction. By clearly communicating schedules, expectations, and calls to action, the newsletter minimized confusion for patrons, vendors, and collaborators, and helped establish trust through consistency. Over time, it became a reliable reference point for what was happening at the venue and how to engage with it.

The audience included general patrons, performers, vendors, and internal collaborators, each with different informational needs. Editorial decisions accounted for this mixed readership by prioritizing clarity, hierarchy, and adaptable voice—ensuring that logistical details were accessible without sacrificing warmth or personality.
